Carrie Underwood has been nominated for five CMT Awards.
Those in the running for the prestigious music gongs were announced in part by Lady Antebellum on the Today show this morning.
Carrie leads the way, picking up mentions in three categories. She got two nods in the Video of the Year group, thanks to her track Something in the Water and her collaboration with Miranda Lambert Somethin' Bad.
She also did the double in the Female Video category, thanks to Little Toy Guns and Something in the Water. Her fifth nomination was for See You Again, in the running for Video of the Year.
The Video of the Year prize is the main event and also saw Darius Rucker, Dierks Bentley, Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum, Lee Brice, Luke Bryan, Maddie & Tae and Sam Hunt in the running.
Lady Antebellum did well across the board, matching Kenny Chesney with four nominations. The group revealed who was nominated for the male and female video prizes on the TV show, with Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban, Luke Bryan and Miranda Lambert all mentioned in the two categories.
