Jessy J fier op ‘Teguila Moon’
Een nieuwe saxofoniste!
Saxofoniste Jessy J geniet van het succes van haar
debuutsingle ‘Tequila Moon’. De track
is tevens de titel van haar gelijknamig album op
Peak Records, in een productie van Paul Brown. Het
saxfenomeen zei dat een soloproject opnemen en
uitbrengen al een tijdje een droom van haar is. Ze
zet niet alleen haar saxsound tentoon, maar tevens
haar talent voor songwriting en zang. Alhoewel alle
songs op ‘Tequila Moon’ voor haar
speciaal zijn, zegt Jessy dat de titeltrack haar
het best bevalt. Ze legt uit: “‘Tequila
Moon’ I think has opened up a lot of doors
for me too in a way that it's popular on the radio
right now, it's the name of my first CD, which is
my dream. And, I don't know, I'm excited about that
song especially.” Momenteel is Jessy J te
gast in de aankomende ‘Guitars &
Saxes’ shows met gitaristen Jeff Golub en
Peter White, keyboardspeler Jeff Lorber en saxman
Gerald Albright.
