 Altered Five Blues Band Returns with Eighth Studio Album Hammer & Chisel The powerhouse Milwaukee quintet Altered Five Blues Band returns with their eighth studio album, Hammer & Chisel, set for release on February 27. Featuring 11 original tracks, the album showcases why the award-winning group has remained a force in contemporary blues for over two decades, performing in 13 countries worldwide. Hammer & Chisel will be available on CD, special metallic silver vinyl, and all digital platforms. Recorded over just four days in Nashville, TN, the album captures the band at their absolute best. Singer Jeff Taylor belts out each track with gusto, backed by tight musicianship, razor-sharp guitar work, and lyrics that hit straight to the bone. From the funky, horn-driven opener “I Got It Good” to the cautionary “Who Can You Trust” and the empowering closer “The Will of Man,” the album exemplifies the precision and passion that comes from 24 years of collective experience. The album title reflects the band’s relentless creative ethos.
