High-octane New Zealand blues-rock trio BB & The Bullets will release their highly anticipated debut album on September 12, 2025. The band--Brian Baker (guitar & vocals), Stu “The Glue” Duncan (bass), and Brad McMillan (drums)—have earned a reputation for explosive live shows and electrifying musicianship.

Known for their crowd-pleasing renditions of classics by John Lee Hooker, George Thorogood, B.B. King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Eric Clapton, the trio has built a loyal following with performances that honor the blues tradition while pushing it forward.

The upcoming album blends seven original tracks with five reimagined blues standards, showcasing both the band’s songwriting talent and their deep roots in the genre.
“We included blues covers because we wanted to establish ourselves as a contemporary blues band—one that can easily fit into a festival or concert alongside modern blues artists like Joe Bonamassa and Eric Gales,” the band shares.

Recorded at Brian Baker’s studio in New Zealand and self-produced by Baker, the album captures the raw, live-wire energy that has defined BB & The Bullets on stage. The band’s goal: to deliver a studio record that feels just as urgent, spirited, and powerful as their concerts.
