 Big Daddy Wilson release new album 'Smiling All Day Long' on October 3, 2025 Renowned North Carolina bluesman Big Daddy Wilson, known for acclaimed albums like Love Is The Key (2009), Thumb A Ride (2011), I’m Your Man (2013), Time (2015), Neck Bone Stew (2017), Deep In My Soul (2019), Hard Time Blues, and Plan B, returns with his latest release, Smiling All Day Long — a milestone on his long and winding musical journey. After 2019’s Deep In My Soul, Wilson felt he had come full circle: “It’s the journey of a man who found himself deep in this beautiful music called the blues and finally, after 25 years, made it back home.” But his story didn’t end there. Smiling All Day Long takes his artistry to new heights, showcasing his most versatile collection yet. Featuring special guests Eric Bibb (3x Grammy nominee) and blues legend Hans Theessink, the album highlights Wilson’s growth as both a producer and songwriter. “Creating this album has been an incredible journey,” Wilson says, “and it simply wouldn’t have been possible without the talent, passion, and spirit of the extraordinary musicians who joined me along the way.” The first single from the album will be available to stream here starting July 11.
