The debut single from Bob Corritore & Friends’ upcoming album 'Ernestine Blues' arrives as a powerful Southern anthem.

When harmonica virtuoso Bob Corritore joins forces with Soul Blues legend Johnny Rawls, something truly special happens. Rawls—an acclaimed songwriter and master storyteller—has long encouraged Corritore to weave his signature harmonica sound into the rich textures of Southern Soul. The result is a powerful musical synergy that highlights the very best of both artists.

Their new single, “I Love the South,” is a warm and uplifting Mississippi-inspired anthem that instantly transports listeners to a place where life slows down and the living feels easy. Rawls’ vivid lyrics bring the region to life—when he sings about sweet tea, you can almost taste it. Backed by his commanding, church-rooted vocals, Corritore’s feel-good harmonica, a stellar band, and a soaring chorus of female gospel singers, the track delivers a stirring Soul Blues experience.

“I Love the South” serves as the first single from Corritore’s forthcoming, star-studded blues album ERNESTINE BLUES, set for release on April 10, 2026, via VizzTone.
