Rotterdam’s premier blues outfit, Fat Harry & the Fuzzy Licks, will release their highly anticipated second album, Zero Ten Alley, on October 31, 2025. The title nods to their hometown’s beloved “010” code, and the music inside captures the city’s vibrant energy—fusing soul, funk, and R&B into a fresh, modern take on the classic blues tradition.

Across the record, the band pays homage to their Afro-American musical heroes while injecting their own contemporary influences, creating a sound that is as timeless as it is forward-looking.

On stage, Fat Harry & the Fuzzy Licks have built a reputation for performances where passion and energy shine as brightly as their musicianship. Their versatility has earned them the role of European touring band for numerous international artists, including Preston Shannon, Kat Riggins, John Primer, Curtis Salgado, Giles Robson, and Lurrie Bell.

The group also shares a particularly deep connection with the late Joe Louis Walker, who was both an early inspiration and a frequent collaborator. Walker not only recorded one of Harry’s original songs for his album Between A Rock And The Blues, but also contributed one of his final recordings—a haunting guitar solo on I’m Gonna Leave You, featured on Zero Ten Alley. In light of his passing, the track resonates as a powerful and poignant farewell.

Additional standout contributions come from soulful blues singer Robbin Kapsalis and the band’s own saxophonist Jan de Ligt, who sadly passed away shortly after completing the sessions. Together, their performances help make Zero Ten Alley both a celebration of the blues and a moving testament to resilience, passion, and the enduring spirit of the music.
With Zero Ten Alley, Fat Harry & the Fuzzy Licks reaffirm their place as one of Europe’s most vital blues bands proving once again that the blues is not only alive, but thriving.
