Ghost Hounds Unleash Southern Rock Anthem “Something Wicked” Ahead of New Album Justified

Ghost Hounds have shared “Something Wicked,” the latest single from their upcoming album Justified, due out August 21, 2026, via Maple House Records.

Packed with soaring vocals, fiery guitar work and Southern rock energy, the track explores themes of uncertainty and the “end of days.” Frontman SAVNT describes it as “a true anthemic Southern rock song” that asks, “Are these the times the old folks warned us about?”

SAVNT also recalled how the song came together naturally during a writing session with band founder Thomas Tull and guitarist Tyler Chiarelli, saying the music seemed to shape itself as the trio worked through the lyrics and arrangement.

Justified blends rock, soul, country and Americana while exploring themes of betrayal, revenge, hope and redemption. The album features Ghost Hounds' current lineup of SAVNT, Thomas Tull, Tyler Chiarelli, Kristin Weber, Joe Munroe, Bennett Miller and Sydney Driver.

Following acclaimed performances at the Grand Ole Opry, AmericanaFest, and tours with The Rolling Stones, ZZ Top and Bob Seger, Ghost Hounds continue to build on the momentum of recent releases, including 2025's Almost Home.

Reflecting on the new album, Tyler Chiarelli said Justified represents the band's most complete work to date, bringing together all of their musical influences while showcasing SAVNT's remarkable vocal range.
