Handsome Jack Tap Classic Bottleneck Blues on New Single “Poly Molly” from  forthcoming album Barnburners!

out
February 6th via Alive Naturalsound Records.

Following the release of their recent singles “Let’s Go Downtown” and “Do It! To It!”, Handsome Jack return with a swaggering new follow-up track, “Poly Molly.” The gritty, blues-fueled rocker is the latest offering from the band’s forthcoming studio album Barnburners!

Frontman Jamison Passuite describes the track as a modern reinterpretation of classic blues traditions:
“On ‘Poly Molly’ we took the classic Elmore James bottleneck style and made it our own for modern times. The simple and raw live take sounds both old and fresh at the same time, which was a big goal for this record.”

Hailing from Lockport, New York, the power trio channels the spirit of classic American roots music into a sound that is both timeless and electrifying. Drawing deeply from rock ’n’ roll, R&B, blues, and old-school boogie, Handsome Jack crafts songs that feel raw, immediate, and familiar—music equally at home in a backwoods juke joint or roaring through a packed club.

Known for their sweat-soaked, high-energy live performances, the band is driven by Passuite’s soulful vocals and searing guitar work, anchored by the tight, hard-hitting rhythm section of Joey Verdonselli and Bennie Hayes.

The new single “Poly Molly,” along with previous releases “Let’s Go Downtown” and “Do It! To It!”, are available now on all digital and streaming platforms.
