HeavyDrunk and Watermelon Slim combine forces for a new record, Bluesland Theme Park

What started as a European Tour will now also be a full length album to be released Spring 2025. The first two singles "Watermelon Girl" & "Little Bighorn" are out now! 

Rob and 21 time Blues Award nominee, Watermelon Slim, met in Clarksdale, Mississippi and played a few shows together before they decided to play Pilgrimage Festival and then head to Europe in Fall 2024. 

Next thing you know they are at Dial Back Sound in Water Valley Mississippi, cutting a new record. “I heard Slim play ‘Little Big Horn’, and I was blown away. It was instantly one of my Slim fave’s, and it had never been released?! So I booked the studio and called the band.”

The two have released 25 records separately: Watermelon Slim (14), Rob Robinson (11). This is the 4th for Rob with HeavyDrunk and the first for HeavyDrunk and Watermelon Slim together.
