Born in the sacred red clay of Mississippi’s Hill Country, Duwayne Burnside grew up surrounded by blues royalty. As the son of the legendary R.L. Burnside, he learned guitar by ear, absorbing the hypnotic, pulsing rhythms that echoed through juke joints and front porches around Holly Springs.

Now a Grammy-nominated artist, Duwayne stands as one of the most powerful carriers of the Hill Country flame a raw, emotive musician whose sound links the Deep South’s past and present.
