Joanne Shaw Taylor Releases Blues-Rock Anthem "Bad Boy" From Upcoming Album The Trouble With Love

J​oanne Shaw Taylor has released "Bad Boy," the latest single from her forthcoming studio album, The Trouble With Love, due Oct. 23 via Journeyman Records.

Driven by Taylor's fiery guitar work, "Bad Boy" is a blues-rock anthem that captures the emotional highs and lows of a toxic relationship. The track explores the journey from heartbreak to self-confidence, pairing soaring riffs with lyrics about breaking free and reclaiming independence.

"Sometimes love is thrilling and destructive at the same time," Taylor says. "I wrote this song about those intense, complicated relationships."

"Bad Boy" offers another glimpse of The Trouble With Love, which was produced by Kevin Shirley. The album explores the many facets of love while blending Taylor's signature mix of blues, rock, soul and Americana.

The new single follows a string of previously released tracks from the album, including the title track featuring Joe Bonamassa, "What Good Is My Love?" featuring Orianthi, "Hell Or High Water," "This Is Who I Am" and "Tired Of Being Right."
