​Baton Rouge blues-rock artist Jonathon “Boogie” Long has released “Baby, I’m Through,” the latest single from his upcoming album Courage In The Chaos, arriving March 6 on Myrical Media. The track appears alongside a live-in-studio performance video that highlights Boogie’s unmistakable blend of raw emotion, masterful guitar work, and unfiltered storytelling.

Following the album’s lead single “A Fool Can See,” “Baby, I’m Through” pushes deeper into the record’s theme of honesty. It’s a clear-eyed blues confession delivered without disguise — a moment of finality sung with resolve. The band’s understated accompaniment gives Boogie’s voice space to land, matching the song’s quiet power.

The album blends Baton Rouge blues, gospel phrasing, and flashes of improvisational fire, shaped by a trusted collaborator who encouraged Boogie to reconnect with his roots.

A lifelong musician, Long grew up in a gospel-singing Baton Rouge family, began performing publicly at six, gigged professionally by eleven, and hit the road full-time at fourteen. Mentors and Louisiana blues elders shaped his early path, while later years with New Orleans soul legend Luther Kent taught him restraint and depth. After earning Guitar Center’s King of the Blues title in 2011, his national profile grew — as did the maturity that now defines his sound.

With Courage In The Chaos, Boogie delivers a collection that feels both rooted and revealing. The guitar still roars when it needs to  but more than ever, it tells the truth.
