JOSELYN & DON RETURN WITH THEIR MOST EXPANSIVE ALBUM YET, LOST & FOUND HIGHWAY (October 3rd, 2025)
A Soulful Road Trip Through Memory, Identity, and the American Landscape

Montana-raised, Los Angeles-based Americana duo Joselyn & Don announce the release of their third studio album, Lost & Found Highway, their first full-length recorded outside the shadow of the pandemic. Co-produced by Graham Richman and Don Barrozo, the album features contributions from some of Americana’s most revered players, including Greg Leisz (pedal steel), Bob Glaub (bass), Mauricio “Fritz” Lewak (drums), and guest vocalists Chris Pierce, Cristina Vane, and Abby Posner.

Blending Laurel Canyon folk, soul, alt-country, and classic Americana with a cinematic edge, Lost & Found Highway explores what we leave behind, what we gain, and the spaces in between. Written with a lens shaped by both artists’ small-town Montana roots and their creative lives in Los Angeles, the album moves through themes of memory, change, connection, and rediscovery.

“This record is about the moments between milestones,” says Wilkinson, who is also a founder of the global fusion band ADAAWE. “It’s for anyone who’s stared out a car window and wondered how they got here, and where they’re headed next.”

The forthcoming album Lost & Found Highway takes listeners on a richly layered journey through personal history, place, and perseverance. The title track blends Americana and soul with unexpected twists that mirror life’s unpredictable path. “Right On Through,” featuring Cristina

Vane, recounts a true train disaster in Helena, MT, through haunting vocal harmonies, pedal steel, and lush string textures. “Choose Love,” a timely anthem for unity featuring Chris Pierce, has already gained national attention with features on NPR’s The Midnight Special and The Great American Folk Show. “Workin’ the Hi-Line” offers a powerful tribute to Don’s father, who emigrated from the Philippines and built a life in Northern Montana. Meanwhile, “Girl From the Mountain” delivers an upbeat alt-country groove that celebrates the complicated gravity of home.

Following their critically acclaimed debut album Soar (2020) and EP Seeds & Bones (2022), Lost & Found Highway deepens the duo’s signature blend of introspective songwriting, intricate fingerpicked guitar, and Wilkinson’s one-of-a-kind voice. Tracks move seamlessly from sparse folk ballads to lush, groove-driven soundscapes, grounded by the rhythm section of Lewak and Glaub who are known for their longtime work with Jackson Browne.

“We’ve always been rooted in acoustic music,” notes Barrozo, a veteran TV editor for The Simpsons and a former member of world champion drum corps, The Blue Devils. “But this time, we widened our sonic lens. Graham [Richman] encouraged us to stretch stylistically, adding strings, layered guitars, even horns. It’s still us, but fuller and freer.”

Recent years have seen Joselyn & Don gaining traction on the Americana and folk circuits, with performances at the Montana Performing Arts Consortium, FAR-West Folk Alliance, and acclaimed venues like ASU Kerr Cultural Center, Grand Annex, and Hotel Café. Their music has charted on Roots Music Report and the Americana Music Association’s Top 100, and drawn praise from Americana UK, Twangville, and Americana Highways, with one music critic hailing their work as “rich, lyrical, wild, and spiritual.”

Whether covering a song on environmental stewardship (“Seminole Wind”), writing about the emotional residue of insomnia (“Four AM”), or a lifelong love of music itself (“Rock and Roll Heart” feat. Abby Posner), the songs on Lost & Found Highway all point back to a central truth: that the journey shapes us just as much as the destination.
“This is the record we’ve always wanted to make,” Joselyn shares. “Each song tells its own story, but together they’re a map — of places we’ve been, people we’ve become, and the moments that led us here.”

Americana duo Joselyn & Don return this summer with “Girl From the Mountain,” a bold and breezy new single, offering an irresistible taste of their upcoming album Lost & Found Highway (out October 3). Fueled by upright bass, a punk-tinged groove, and an infectious singalong chorus, the track captures the giddy freedom of a summer road trip, just as the season begins to slip away.
