 North Mississippi Allstars – Still Shakin’ Release date: June 6, 2025 Twenty-five years ago, brothers Cody and Luther Dickinson introduced the North Mississippi Allstars to the world with their debut album, Shake Hands With Shorty. It was their own take on Mississippi blues. To celebrate that legacy in style, they decided to drop another blues album: Still Shakin’. The record blends original tracks with covers of legends like Robert Johnson, Junior Kimbrough, Fred McDowell, and Furry Lewis. While it’s firmly rooted in traditional blues, the band adds their unmistakable North Mississippi Allstars flavor throughout. They’re joined by a host of musical friends, with vocalist Joey Williams playing a standout role. Still, at the heart of it all are Cody’s powerful rhythms and Luther’s masterful guitar work.
