Parker Barrow Unveils New Single “Blinded,” Announces Sophomore Album Hold the Mash

Release date: July 17, 2026

Parker Barrow has released its first new music of 2026 with the single Blinded, available now across streaming platforms alongside an official music video.

“Blinded” is set to appear on the band’s forthcoming sophomore album Hold the Mash, due out July 17. The record will also feature previously released tracks from last year’s EP of the same name, including Make It, Novocaine, The Healer, and Glass Eyes Cryin’, in addition to four brand-new songs.

The single was written by drummer and founder Dylan Turner alongside guitarist and musical director Alex Bender.
“It was one of the first tracks written and recorded for the new album,” says Bender. “It helped define the direction we wanted to take with the songs that followed. The main riff has a distinctly Stones-inspired feel—I approached the rhythm parts with how I imagine Keith Richards might play them. ‘Blinded’ reflects a ‘less is more’ philosophy, where simplicity drives its impact.”

On the song’s lyrical themes, Turner adds: “As musicians, it’s easy to get caught up in seeking validation through likes and comments—things that feed the flesh rather than the spirit. I wrote this as a personal reminder to stay grounded and focused on a greater purpose.”

Fronted by husband-and-wife duo Megan Kane (lead vocals) and Turner (drums), Parker Barrow draws its name from infamous outlaws Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow. The pair first connected in 2019 during Turner’s search for a new singer, hitting the road together just weeks later. In 2023, Bender joined as a full-time member, expanding the band’s lineup.
The group is rounded out by guitarist Will Tipton, bassist Kyle Priber, and keyboardist Eric Safka.

Based in Nashville, Parker Barrow blends rock, Southern rock, blues, and soul into a sound they describe as “vintage-shop rock.” Their debut album Jukebox Gypsies was released in 2023, while the single Back To Birmingham has surpassed one million views on YouTube.

The band will spend much of the summer touring across the United States before heading overseas for their first U.K. headline run, including appearances at Maid of Stone Festival and Steelhouse Festival.
