Traditional Country Singer/Songwriter Randy Cobb Drops Music Video for Latest Single The Sand

Traditional country singer/songwriter Randy Cobb kicks off the new year with the official music video for his current radio release, The Sand. The track is currently climbing the Music Row Country Breakout Chart

Directed by Naquin Visuals, and filmed in Alabama, the video captures a nostalgic, throwback aesthetic, featuring the Sheriff and General Lee vintage cars and intimate moments of Randy reflecting on time that has quietly slipped away. Serving as a visual extension of the song’s core message, the video underscores the importance of living authentically, prioritizing what truly matters, and cherishing every moment, because once time is gone, it can never be reclaimed.

Drawing inspiration from country legends such as John Conley, George Strait, Keith Whitley, and more, Randyseamlessly blends lyrical depth with heartfelt storytelling. His sound remains firmly rooted in country tradition while resonating with modern audiences, positing The Sand as a defining release that continues to establish Randy Cobbas a compelling new voice in today’s country landscape.

The Sand is currently charting on the MusicRow Country Breakout Chart and made an impressive international debut, landing in the Top 7 most-streamed and Top 13 most-downloaded country tracks on the PlayMPE chart during its first week of release.

Randy’s previous radio single, Country Boy, gained significant traction at country radio, earning spots on Media Base, CDX True Indie Chart and the MusicRow Country Breakout Chart. It became one of the top most added songs on the MusicRow chart, reached the Top 6 most streamed track internationally on PlayMPE, and was featured on multiple playlists. Cobb actively supported the release with radio visits nationwide.

About Randy Cobb:

Born in Pensacola, Florida, Randy Cobb began writing at a young age as a way to cope with childhood adversity. As a young adult, he settled to lower Alabama—where he still calls home—and grew into an avid outdoorsman. Inspired by nature and life’s experiences, Randy honed his craft as a singer/songwriter, developing a deep passion for storytelling through music.
Cobb draws from life experiences and country traditions to create songs with raw honesty and emotional depth. Over the years, he toured extensively across the Southeast, performing at clubs, fairs, and festivals, and sharing the stage with major artists including Jason Aldean, Little Big Town, Craig Morgan, Mark Wills, and Darryl Worley.

In 2012, Cobb stepped away from music to run his own trucking company while raising his daughter and caring for his mother. Yet, his love for music never faded—he continued to write, play, and record his originals. Following the devastating losses of his mother, brother, and business during COVID, he reignited his passion for music with renewed purpose and resilience.

Now signed to South Sixty Five Entertainment Group, Cobb is carving out his place in today’s country scene with breakout radio success singles like Not On Me, Country Boy, and his brand new release The Sand. The music video for Not On Me has reached over 4 million views to date and the video for Country Boy is currently in rotation on American Country Network. Influenced by legends such as Keith Whitley, Merle Haggard, Earl Thomas Conley, and George Strait, Cobb blends traditional country roots with heartfelt storytelling, creating music that resonates across generations.
