VizzTone proudly presents Keep On Pushing, the powerful new release from internationally acclaimed blues guitarist and vocalist Kirk Fletcher

Release date: August 15, 2025

Teaming up with co-producer JD Simo and a stellar lineup of Nashville musicians, Kirk Fletcher delivers Keep On Pushing — an album that channels the raw energy and immediacy of classic “live in the studio” sessions. The record features a dynamic mix of timeless songs by blues legends like Big Bill Broonzy, Arthur Crudup, and Percy Mayfield, alongside compelling originals from Fletcher himself, including a tribute to Robert Nighthawk co-written with Simo.

The album’s first single, “Croke,” is a vibrant instrumental that Fletcher describes as “a melody I’ve carried with me for many years.” He adds, “It’s in the style of classic West Coast jump blues, inspired by some of my mentors and heroes like Junior Watson and Hollywood Fats, as well as Bill Jennings and Tiny Grimes — all artists Watson turned me on to in my early twenties. The name ‘Croke’ came from a story shared by bassist Ron Eoff during the sessions — a fun nod to the spirit of those times. It’s my salute to West Coast jump blues.”

A revered figure on the international blues scene since his 1999 debut, Fletcher has earned acclaim as a solo artist, a member of the Mannish Boys and the Fabulous Thunderbirds, and a collaborator with icons such as Joe Bonamassa, Charlie Musselwhite, and Nick Curran. This month alone, he’s taken his electrifying performances to Sweden, Portugal, and Romania, with upcoming appearances at the Calgary Blues Festival, Las Vegas’ Big Blues Bender, and the Eastside Festival in Austin, Texas.
