Will Wilde Releases Striking New Video “Don’t Play With Fire” from His Celebrated Album Blues Is Still Alive

​Following the chart-topping success of his latest album Blues Is Still Alive (VizzTone Label Group), Will Wilde has released the official video for “Don’t Play With Fire,” an up-tempo track infused with a vibrant ’60s blues vibe.

Speaking about the song, Wilde shares: “I drew a lot of inspiration from the Paul Butterfield Blues Band on this one. It’s a blast to play live and always gets the crowd moving. I’m looking forward to performing it on our upcoming European Tour.” The track features soulful backing vocals from Brave Rival’s Lindsey Bonnick and Chloe Josephine, along with Wilde’s sister, Dani Wilde.

Released in February 2025, Blues Is Still Alive reached #5 on the Official UK Jazz & Blues Chart and claimed the #1 spot on the IBBA Chart. A standout element of the record is Wilde’s powerful, boundary-pushing harmonica style. Blues-rock icon Walter Trout, who also appears on the album, has hailed Wilde as “the best harmonica player on the planet.”

Wilde plays on his own customized Wilde-Tuned harmonicas, designed to allow more “guitar-like” expression on high notes.
In addition, Wilde has launched a new online program, The Ultimate Blues Rock Course for Wilde Tuning, where he teaches players how to master the harmonica solo from “Don’t Play With Fire” and other songs from Blues Is Still Alive.
