2019 marks the year she is 50 years active in the Entertainment Business.
She made her professional debut as a singer called Barbi Münzer with a song called "Acapulcobanjapolka" in 1969.
Her big break came when Disco Producers Michael Kunze & Sylvester Levay took her under their wings.
She became a member of the Grammy Award winning Trio SILVER CONVENTION and they gave her solo success with a song called "Lady Bump" under her third artist name PENNY MCLEAN (Birth name: Gertrude Wirschinger). Her recordings were worldwide released and succesful in the Charts.
With Silver Convention she recorded 3 Albums, one of their higlights was representing Germany at The Eurovision Song Contest in 1977 with "Telegram" and ending at place 8th.
As a solo singer she released 3 Albums and 19 45T Singles. Her singing career provided her with various Awards like 'Best Female Group' in 1977 and 18 Gold Records.
During the late 80ties she stopped her singing career and started a new one of being an Author.
She became a Best Selling Author in Germany of books with an Esoteric theme.
More than 25 books were published, her latest one in 2018 entitled "Gestorben ist noch lang nicht tot".
In 2016 she was inducted in the 'Golden Book of the City of Klagenfurt' by Mayoress of Klagenfurt, her birthtown.
