Bay Area bluesman Blind Lemon Pledge (aka James Byfield) is back with his tenth album — and his first live recording — capturing the raw energy and soul of his powerhouse quartet. Blending gritty Delta blues with rock, ragtime, and Americana, this album is a fiery tribute to Pledge’s deep musical roots.

Featuring five original tracks and eight dynamic covers, the set kicks off with “Backyard Suzie,” a blistering nod to Son House, and rolls into blues burners like “Hard Heart Honey Bee” and the cheeky, ragtime romp “Sugar Rush.”
