Brit Taylor Releases New Album “Land of the Forgotten” Release date: march 13, 2026 Country singer Brit Taylor was born and raised in Eastern Kentucky, a region that produced legends like Loretta Lynn, Keith Whitley, The Judds, and Tyler Childers. Deeply rooted in Appalachian culture, that heritage shapes her third album, Land of the Forgotten, which she says feels like “driving home.” Although she has lived in Nashville for nearly two decades, Taylor remains inspired by the resilience of Appalachian people. She began singing professionally at age seven with the Kentucky Opry and developed a distinctive voice capable of moving from high lonesome tones to rich, low growls. The album was produced by her husband, singer-songwriter Adam Chaffin, who encouraged her most honest vocal performance yet. Many songs were co-written with Adam Wright and focus on working-class life, balancing humor, hardship, and hope. Influenced by classic country and bluegrass from the 1980s and 1990s—especially artists like Ricky Skaggs and Patty Loveless--Land of the Forgotten blends traditional roots with a modern perspective. With this record, Taylor embraces her authentic voice and delivers fearless, honest songs that reflect her life and Appalachian roots. TRACK LIST: 1. Broke No More 2. All For Sale 3.
