 Elles Bailey Announces New Album Can’t Take My Story Away And 2026 Tour Following the release of her highest-charting album to date last year, Elles Bailey returns with her new album Can’t Take My Story Away, out January 16th via Cooking Vinyl and Outlaw Music. Alongside the announcement, Elles shares the album’s first single ‘Growing Roots’ and confirms a run of UK and EU headline dates for February and March 2026, including London’s Islington Assembly Hall on March 19th. Produced by Luke Potashnick, Can’t Take My Story Away is an honest and deeply personal record, created over three years and drawing on songs written across the past decade. Across eleven tracks, Elles delivers stories of resilience, hope and renewal, carried by her unmistakable, grit-filled voice. “There’s a quiet strength and empowerment running through this album,” Elles says. “Even in some of the hardest moments, there’s a feeling of joy and light finding its way in.” Lead single ‘Growing Roots’ is a groove-led love song that places Elles’ raw, soulful vocals front and centre. “It’s about finding your person and choosing to put down roots,” she explains, “and about who you become when you truly live in the moment.” While recorded with new collaborators, Elles will tour with her long-standing live band in support of the album. The 11-date run kicks off in Stuttgart on February 20th and also includes a hometown show at Bristol’s Electric on March 21st. She will also appear at Sun, Sand and Soul Festival in Florida on April 24th alongside Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit and Drive-By Truckers.
