​Grace Potter continues the rollout of her forthcoming album Trespasser with the release of its second single, the driving and electrifying ‘Run Baby Run’. Fueled by roaring guitars and relentless forward momentum, the track sees the four-time Grammy nominee turning personal turmoil into a widescreen rock anthem packed with urgency and attitude.

Set for release on August 21 via Thirty Tigers, Trespasser follows 2023’s acclaimed Mother Road. While its predecessor was rooted in a search for comfort and healing, the new album embraces a bolder, more liberated outlook. Across ten tracks, Potter steps into the shoes of drifters, spirits and outsiders, crafting a cinematic journey of reinvention, resilience and self-discovery.

‘Run Baby Run’ sits at the heart of that narrative. Beneath its high-octane energy lies a story of escape and survival, capturing the tension of breaking free while holding onto the fierce determination that has become a hallmark of Potter’s songwriting. The result is a powerful blend of emotional candour and swaggering rock and roll, further cementing her status as one of Americana’s most compelling voices.

Trespasser was produced by Potter’s husband and longtime collaborator Eric Valentine, whose extensive résumé includes work with Queens of the Stone Age, Weezer and Slash. Recorded in Topanga Canyon, Nashville and Vermont, the album features contributions from an impressive cast of musicians, including Benmont Tench of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, alongside members of Cage The Elephant, Kings of Leon and Potter’s touring band.
