Midwest Singer-Songwriter Joyann Parker to Release New Album Life Lines Release date: March 27, 2026 Midwest singer-songwriter Joyann Parker will release her latest album, Life Lines, on March 27, 2026. Known for her powerful, expressive voice rooted in blues and R&B, Parker has previously earned Billboard Blues Chart recognition for her earlier releases. With Life Lines, she steps into her most personal chapter yet—placing honesty above polish and delivering songs deeply tied to lived experience. Life Lines reflects Parker’s evolution as an artist unbound by genre. Inspired by the stories carried in people’s lives, memories, and the visible lines of age, the album explores what it means to grow, endure, and connect. “It’s a reminder that getting older is a gift,” Parker says. “Every line has a story, and I’m learning to wear mine with gratitude.” Drawing sonic inspiration from 1970s artists such as Tom Petty, Linda Ronstadt, Van Morrison, and Albert King, Life Lines blends soul, rock, blues, and Americana. The result is a collection described as some of Parker’s most emotionally honest songwriting to date—songs centered on resilience, healing, and the unseen threads that carry people through hardship. Recorded with her longtime touring ensemble, Life Lines captures the trust and chemistry of the Joyann Parker Band. Parker leads on vocals, guitar, and piano, joined by Mark Lamoine (guitar, backing vocals), Tim Wick (keyboards), Scott Graves (horns, percussion, backing vocals), Chris Bates (bass), and Bill Golden (drums, backing vocals). The album was co-produced by Parker and Kevin Bowe, with Lamoine serving as executive producer, recorded at The Kill Room, and mastered by Bruce Templeton at Microphonic. The lead-out single, “Got Love,” is a vibrant, groove-driven anthem showcasing Parker’s soulful delivery. Inspired by a close friend’s journey toward healing, the song is an uplifting statement of hope and resilience—designed to move the body and lift the spirit. Described as “an up-tempo rocking ballad about the importance of love regardless of the path we’re on,” the track radiates warmth and sincerity. Parker adds, “‘Got Love’ is about choosing hope—even when things feel heavy. Watching someone I love fight their way back reminded me how powerful love can be when it’s steady, patient, and real.” TRACKLIST: “End of the Line” “The Devil You Know” “Seasons” “Laundromat Girl” “Okay to Stay” “Let You Go to Love You” “Just About Enough” “You Can Say That Again” “(When You Get to) Milwaukee” “Starting Line” “Think of Me” “Got Love” Website: joyannparker.com Opmerkingen zijn gesloten.
