New video by BOTS Conspiracy Octave de la Musique award 2018 winning live electronic music band GLÜ (Brussels) strikes again with ‘Ruins’, another signature track and its visual realm from the band’s new direction. Taken from their 3rd release, album “THREE” (NAFF 2016), this obscure downbeat track features the vocals of Lazarine (aka Woodrow Lazarine aka AntiLuX) whose chant seems likely to resurrect long forgotten monks in cathedral ruins. Call it a dungeon hymn. To visually emphasize GLÜ’s unique identity clipmakers BOTS Conspiracy again lent a hand, but unlike the brilliant stop-motion animation that they delivered for “The Dark Face of The Sun”, “Ruins” comes equipped with a rather cubistically styled piece of art. This time the Talbot brothers (BOTS) illustrated the aftermath of these Ruins, better yet: the decline of modern(ist) society, by morphing geometrical forms into something hard to define, something unsettling, unfamiliar. Is it announcing a radical transformation, the imminent dawn of a new era, or are we already living it ? About: Glü is a four-piece band based in Brussels, Belgium. The band plays powerful and energetic live music, blending its many influences from the electronic music field and adding a psychedelic and cinematic touch, as their stage performances feature a live video artist. Line-up: Martin Daniel, François Gaspard, Dorian Palos, Martin Méreau, Charles Bruere. http://www.leglu.com/ Agenda:
